Catalina Quilting is owned and operated by sisters, Betty Riddle and Cathy Munson, and is located in Catalina, Arizona, a few miles north of Tucson. We opened the shop in May 2006. 

Previously, we both worked in law firms in Los Angeles. With a desire to “slow down” and “start enjoying life”, we expanded our hobby, pooled our resources and entered into “World of Quilting”. Little did we realize that ownership of a quilt shop would become as demanding, if not more so, than our previous careers. We are enjoying every minute and all the wonderful people we have come to know, meet and share their love of quilting. 

We send out newsletters every 4-months containing information on classes, special events etc, along with class descriptions and a calendar. The newsletter is also packed with additional general current events. We have some of the best teachers in town and proudly offer classes from the beginner, including children, to the most advanced quilter. 

Catalina Quilting is also very proud to be the exclusive dealer to offer “Stamps by Kate” Look under the “stamps” section on this website and discover the fascinating and exciting new way to stamp and sew. 

We are now mid-way through our second year and are on-line. We offer sales of fabric, notions, patterns, etc. Many more items will become available as they arrive and the our site is expanded.
